About PHG
PHG is a key research centre in the area, working both on applied and policy oriented research, and employing some 100 part-time and full-time researchers. PHG counts with major expertise in a host of issues related to water resources, hydrology, rainfall-runoff modelling, and the study of the impact of climate change on socioeconomic conditions. Together with three more Palestinian universities, it plays a key role in developing national water policy guidelines and strategies. Currently the organisation is a key partner in three projects implemented in cooperation with European and other Middle Eastern universities. Recently they have been selected as a key stakeholder for the development of an adaptation strategy for climate change impacts in the
